Contestants have added these impressive awards to bio's, resumes, websites, blogs and on-stage introductions!
To apply for some of the awards contestant must write a statement of not more than 500 words for each application. Type on one side of the paper, bring two copies with you to the pageant. Put each one in its own sheet protector. At the top of the page type the name of the award and your name and title.

Ms. America Pageant Facebook Contest
*The Contestant who gets the most people to LIKE, FOLLOW AND ENGAGEMENT for the Ms. America Pageant Fan Page will win the MS. FOR AMERICA AWARD and a Prize to be announced.
*The Ms. America Pageant has a new Fan Page. www.facebook.com/msamericapageant
*We are looking to grow the MAP Fan Page and get more engagements.
*All Contestants have been invited as an Analyst Admin for the MAP Fan Page. (Not the Group Page).
*Contestants are required to accept the invitation.
*Once a Contestant has accepted the invitation, they will need to go to the MAP Fan Page.
*Log into Facebook and go to the Ms. America Pageant Page. www.facebook.com/msamericapageant
*Click on the 3-dot button which is located on the horizontal menu bar so you can find the INVITE Button to invite friends.
* From the drop-down menu click onto “Invite Friends” which is the bottom option on the drop-down menu.
*Select your FRIENDS whom you would like to invite to LIKE the MAP business page.
*Then click the “Send Invites” blue button at the bottom.
*In order to prevent “Spamming” please only invite up to 200 Friends per day.
*It is not mandatory, but let us know if you want to boost your chances of winning by buying an AD(s) for the Fan Page.
*The pageant has a professional IT/Social Media Manager who is able to track the number of invites, likes and activity from each Contestant.

2 - AMERICA MS. AWARD
Awarded to the contestant who endorses the pageant and promotes the benefits she gained from her participation. To apply for this award contestant must write a statement of not more than 500 words. Receives a small crown and basic ribbon sash on-stage.
3 - CROWN FOR A PURPOSE
This award goes to the contestant who is able to use her title for a purpose to "make a difference". To apply for this award contestant must write a statement of not more than 500 words.
4 - POWER OF THE CROWN
Contestant must submit in writing how becoming a state or regional titleholder has changed her life. To apply for this award contestant must write a statement of not more than 500 words.
5 - EMPOWERING WOMEN AWARD
Given to the contestant for her overall excellence, achievements and leadership.
6 - COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD
The Ms. America® Pageant will recognize sustained commitment to volunteer service and civic participation. She has served her community in a lasting and meaningful way. To apply for this award contestant must write a statement of not more than 500 words describing the service project(s) and her philosophy of community service.
7 - SPIRIT OF AMERICA AWARD
This award is given to a contestant who has over come a challenge in her life which enabled her to believe in herself again. To apply for this award contestant must write a statement of not more than 500 words describing the challenge and what she did to become victorious.
8 - MEDIA AWARD
Goes to the contestant who received the most media attention representing her state, region or city titleholder in the Ms. America® Pageant. Newspaper articles, appearing on radio, magazines, tv, etc...
Included in the media attention also shows or talks about how one can reach Ms. America® Pageant will be taken into consideration for this award. To apply for this award contestants bring all the media they have been in throughout their reign which includes newspaper, magazines, TV and other media outlets. Newspaper and magazine articles are brought to the pageant
9 - WOMAN OF DISTINCTION AWARD
This award is given to the contestant who has made the most appearances before the national pageant. Requires documentation using Queen Corner.
10 - MS. PHOTOGENIC AWARD
Ms. America® must be able to show charm and personality through anything she does. Judging criteria is based on expression, poise, photogenic projection, and personality displayed through portrait and portrayed confidence. Submitted photo for the program book is taken into consideration as well as how she photographs throughout the competition. Official photographer of the Pageant will choose the winner.
11 - MS. CONGENIALITY AWARD
The Ms. Congeniality Award is a coveted title at the Ms. America® Pageant. Contestants will have the opportunity to vote for the woman who they feel personifies the true Spirit of Pageantry and is someone who is congenial, friendly, genuine, charismatic, outgoing and has the most positive attitude throughout the pageant.
12- DIRECTORS AWARD
Given to the contestant who best demonstrates dedication to the pageant, time management and compassion towards fellow contestants.
13 - SPIRIT OF PAGEANTRY AWARD given by PageantryMagazine.com
This award is given to the contestant who best represents all that is good in pageantry: Sportsmanship, teamwork and sisterhood.
