 Mission Statement is to
“Empower Women Across the Nation and Around the World”

The Ms. America ® Pageant has been developed to:
  • Promote and honor women.
  • Help to advance their careers.
  • Celebrate their accomplishments.
  • Empower & Enrich womens lives across America and around the World.
  • Encourage personal growth and individual development that is cultivated by one's preparation and participation in the pageant.
  • Endorse and promote products and services that improve the lives of others.
  • Use the “Crown For A Purpose”  to support and encourage their involvement in social and humanitarian causes across America and around the world.

OUR DEEPEST FEAR

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure about you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us;  it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

THE BEAUTY OF A WOMAN

 

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.

For poise, walk with the knowledge that you'll never walk alone.

 

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed,

revived, reclaimed, and redeemed. Never throw out anybody.

 

As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands,

one for helping yourself, the other for helping others.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears,

the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes,

because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.

 

The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty

in a woman is reflected in her soul.

It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows,

and the beauty of a woman with passing years-only grows!
